FURTHER ACTION

Dear Mr. Swire,

16th November, 1945.

We held our first meeting of the Consultative Committee on the port of Hong Kong yesterday afternoon and Mr. Masson attended.

The Committee expressed the view that Mr. Masson's great knowledge of Hong Kong would be most valuable to the Committee at further meetings, and they expressed the hope that he would be able to attend future meetings along with you.

The next meeting is likely to be held on the 13th December, at 2.30 p.m., in this office, but I shall #onfirm this later.

We should be glad if you can both attend.

I shall send you the minutes of yesterday'a meeting when they are ready.

Yours sincerely,
